As part of our 50th Anniversary weekend, you have the option to participate in The Amazing Race: Lakewood Edition as we race through the streets and history of Prince George. As Prince George celebrates its 100th birthday, Lakewood Alliance celebrates its 50th.
Teams may consist of 2 or more members. (There is no minimum or maximum age limit, however, parents are responsible for all children)
Race length: 12:30 - 3:30. Starting line: Lakewood Alliance Church
All teams members must be able to fit into one vehicle and there must be a seat belt for each person.
Each member of the team who starts the race must also cross the finish line to be eligible for prizes.
Teams will be responsible for their own gas money, some incidental costs (and/or a small entry fee per team), and any traffic violation tickets incurred. Each team must also have a camera or phone to record pictures and video. (Chose your teammates wisely. )
Winning teams will share prizes amongst their team members. More instructions will be given on race day.
