We all have hurts, hangups and habits that hinder our relationship with God and others. The SET FREE retreat is an opportunity to invite God to bring healing into your life and where you can experience His love, grace and forgiveness. Through worship, teaching, and smallgroup interaction you will discover a freedom in your life that only God can give.
God has called His people to live righteous lives and be His light in this world. We cannot possibly accomplish His calling with sin in our lives. It acts as a veil that dims our light and affects every part of our walk with Christ. SET FREE Retreat is a weekend set aside to focus on learning how to deal with sin, hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you really are my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE (John 8:31-32 NIV). Who can go to the SET FREE Retreat?
Wherever you are in your walk, and if you are 16 years or older, we encourage you to attend!
What is the schedule of the weekend?
We begin with dinner on Friday evening at 5pm. The first session begins at 6pm. After the sessions on Friday, participants go home for the night and are asked to be on time for the first Saturday session at 8:30am (breakfast not included). SET FREE runs until Saturday evening with lunch and dinner provided. Please plan to attend the entire retreat.
What is the cost of the retreat and where is it held?
SET FREE is held at Lakewood Alliance Church (4001 - 5th Ave). The cost of the retreat is $75 per person. This includes three meals and retreat materials. Full payment of $75 is due when you register in order to secure your spot.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring your Bible, a notebook, a pen. Above all, bring a heart that is willing to be ministered to by the Lord Himself!
