In September we started the Kids' Own Worship Team made up of Grade 5-7's.  Three weeks of the month these kids come together to practice and plan for the Community weekend worship experience downstairs.  Our goal, is to create a space for children to try different kinds of worship so that they can connect with God in a variety of ways.  We have done canvases, prayer, worship stations, dance and this month, we tried different postures of worship including being on our knees.  It is our hope to raise a generation of children that know God's voice through the work of his Holy Spirit and to encourage them in every way to obey Him.  If you ever wonder what the noise is during Sharing Time, come downstairs and check it out.  I know you will be blessed to watch children worship their Lord!
